What if there was an easier way to get setup with a self-hosted website or blog that comes already optimized for marketing, search engine ranking and profitability?
What would you do?
Would you grab the bull by the horns and take action or would you see a great hawk that has the potential to help you fly and instead run away from it?
I know which one I would choose but even if you chose the hawk thinking the easier way looks too scarey and isn’t right for you, I have to tell you that you are right for some people flying is scary but if you take it one step at a time you will be able to take off and soar through the skies. You will be left wondering what you was really worried about and be inspired to travel further than you ever thought possible.
What is Kalatu and why should I use it?
Many people may not of heard about Kalatu or even know what it means. I have written this little post to clear up a few things. Firstly let me start by saying, if you do not yet have your own Kalatu blog, then you don’t yet know what you are missing.
You may have used a free sub domain with a blogging platform such as blogger, WordPress, Tumblr but you do not own the rights to them. It is important to own your own blog to build your online presence and receive traffic directly to you. This will allow you to be successful online. I know this as I have run into those hurdles many times before I realized there was a better way forward.
As for Kalatu, we can’t use it until we first understand what it means. Kalatu is an aboriginal term that means: to tell a story.
Everyone has a story to tell but not everyone has the means to achieve the rank of story teller. I could never of hoped to become a storyteller until I found some way of organising my stories and then sharing them with others at a click of the button. This is why I joined Kalatu. Kalatu is a blogging platform that comes pre loaded with quality features designed to help get you started with building your blogging website online. It cuts out the need to worry or know about coding such as: html and seo. Kalatu puts you in charge of your own domain and allows the flexibility to shape it as you want. It comes preloaded with some free popular themes and allows you to upgrade for even more. There is unlike other blogs, training and support inside your blog, so if at any time you feel a bit lost you can contact support and they will get you back on track.
Other free blogs do not give you peace of mind, they have limited or no customization. What you see is what you get, and you can’t customize Blogger even if you change the back-end code. It’s also tough to set up your blog with your own domain name.
Lack of Style. Themes and designs on Blogger are limited, and there are no plugins for additional functionality or features.
Lack of Support. There is little community support on Blogger in contrast to the larger developer community on WordPress.
Kalatu provides you with support and if that wasn’t enough you also become a part of an online community of people you can also get help from. You can join our community on facebook, twitter or even youtube. I look forward to seeing you there.
